South Korea's first lesbian dating show, "ToGetHer," has garnered attention with the participation of essayist Kim Jin-ah.

On the 25th, the first episode of "ToGetHer" was released, and Kim Jin-ah, the writer, caught everyone's eye with her strong inner self. In 2019, she appeared on TV Chosun's dating show "Taste of Love" Season 1 as a blind date partner for Kim Jung-hoon, a singer.

During the show, Kim Jung-hoon expressed his romantic interest, saying, "Despite our age difference, I find it most enjoyable to be with you." However, following a lawsuit filed against Kim Jung-hoon by a girlfriend, Kim Jin-ah took to social media to state, "It's been somewhat tough dealing with the controversy, but it's a relief in a way. Thanks for your concern," showing her calm demeanor.

Three years after the broadcast, Kim Jin-ah, who runs a YouTube channel, openly shared her journey of self-discovery regarding her sexual identity.

In 2023, Kim Jin-ah revealed, "About two years ago, I realized my sexual identity had evolved. More precisely, I identify as pansexual rather than bisexual," candidly sharing her experience. "I naturally fell in love with someone who had been fond of me for a long time, and the process was very natural and stable," she explained.

Kim Jin-ah also shared why she decided to come out, saying, "Although I'm not seeing anyone at the moment, loving someone who makes you happy regardless of gender is a beautiful thing. I didn't want to hide the new me that I've discovered. I'm happy to talk about my new self comfortably."

Pansexuality refers to the sexual, romantic, or emotional attraction towards people regardless of their sex or gender identity.

"ToGetHer" is the lesbian version created by the production team behind South Korea's first gay dating series, 'His Man'. The casting was completed by November last year, and filming has since wrapped up.
