The movie 'Big Deal', starring actors Yu Hae-jin and Lee Je-hoon, has had its release date moved up by four days to May 30.

'Big Deal' is set against the backdrop of the 1997 IMF financial crisis. It tells the gripping tale of Jong-rok, a finance director for whom the soju company is his life, and In-beom, a global investment firm employee who only cares about results, as they stake the fate of South Korea's beloved soju in their battle. The intriguing premise of South Korea's national soju being at risk in 1997, along with the casting of Yu Hae-jin, Lee Je-hoon, and Son Hyun-joo, has heightened anticipation.

Originally scheduled for a June 3 release, the decision to move the premiere date seems to be a strategic move to get ahead in the box office race during the presidential election holiday weekend.

'Big Deal' will be available in theaters nationwide on May 30.
