Actors Jung Hae-in and Ha Young are set to meet in the Netflix series 'Such a Messy Love' (literal translation).
'Such a Messy Love' is a romantic comedy that depicts the heart-fluttering cohabitation of prosecutor Go Eun-sae, who suffers from amnesia, and Jang Tae-ha, a boxing coach who insists he's her boyfriend. Directed by Jang Han, known for his delicate and stylish direction in 'Do You Like Brahms?' and 'My Demon', and written by Mo Ji-hye, who reunites with Jang Han four years after 'You Raise Me Up', the series is highly anticipated.
Most notably, the pairing of 'romance expert' Jung Hae-in and Ha Young, who received much love for her role in Netflix's 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call', is causing drama fans' hearts to flutter. Jung Hae-in transforms into Jang Tae-ha, a man with a gruff exterior but a passionate heart. Once a promising youth boxer turned gangster, he now lives as a boxing gym coach after leaving the gang. His last mission before leaving the gang leads him to meet his first love, Go Eun-sae, who has lost her memory, and he begins a dangerous lie.
Jung Hae-in, who has proven his worth as a 'romance expert' through his roles in realistic romances like 'Something in the Rain' and 'One Spring Night', and his first romantic comedy 'Love Next Door', returns as a man who risks everything for love.
Ha Young delivers a compelling performance as Go Eun-sae, a Seoul Central District prosecutor with amnesia. Go Eun-sae is a competent prosecutor who has earned the trust of her seniors with her outstanding achievements. While chasing a violent gang in pursuit of a golden opportunity for advancement, she gets involved in an unexpected accident. Waking up in a strange rural hospital with a row of taffy shops, she has forgotten her name, age, and job, and meets Jang Tae-ha, who claims to be her boyfriend.
Ha Young brings to life the charm of Go Eun-sae, who, despite experiencing a 'messy' period in her life, finds herself sweetly and deeply entangled with Jang Tae-ha. After portraying the bold and competent 'Cheon Jang-mi' in 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call, Ha Young is set to captivate audiences once again with her unique take on romantic comedy.
'Such a Messy Love' will be available on Netflix.
