Paik Jong-won, CEO of The Born Korea, is preparing to sue over allegations of broadcast bullying made by Director Kim Jae-hwan, claiming they are unfounded.

According to a report on the 16th, Paik and The Born Korea are gearing up to file a defamation lawsuit against the YouTube channel 'Studio Ojaena' and Director Kim Jae-hwan for spreading false information.

Previously, Director Kim Jae-hwan accused Paik of using his connections with a PD (program director) to block a professor from appearing on a show Paik was not even part of, and also claimed Paik prevented singer Kim Ho-joong from appearing on SBS.

In response, Paik's side argued, "When a PD asks if a certain guest is a good fit for the program, isn't it possible to simply say 'I'm not sure'? The idea that someone could be blocked from appearing is something not even a network president could pull off," thereby refuting the allegations made by Director Kim.

The Born Korea is also reportedly considering legal action regarding unauthorized recordings made by Kim during a conversation with Paik.

Director Kim, a former MBC educational program PD who has directed food documentaries like 'The True-Taste Show', has criticized Paik and The Born Korea since last year for focusing solely on broadcast activities with an aim for stock listing, while neglecting proper management of franchisees and business locations.
