Gal So-won Turns 20, Ready to Cast Her First Vote in the Presidential Election; SBS to Reveal Her Journey in a Special Documentary
Gal So-wonGal So-won, famously known as Ye-seung from the blockbuster movie 'Miracle in Cell No. 7', is gearing up for her first-ever voting experience.

Ahead of the 21st presidential election on June 3, SBS is set to air a special documentary titled 'The Start at Your Fingertips' on the 24th, encouraging voters to exercise their precious right to vote.

Voting rights might seem like a natural privilege that comes with age, but each vote embodies the principles of democracy―universal, equal, secret, and direct―achieved through the blood, sweat, and time of countless individuals. This documentary traces the intense historical journey to the point where every citizen aged 18 and over is given a ballot, highlighting the voices of those who played a pivotal role in expanding voting rights and reminding us of the weight of this easily overlooked privilege.

Gal So-won, who captured hearts as Ye-sung in the hit film 'Miracle in Cell No. 7', has now turned twenty and is ready to participate in her first election. Although it is her official debut at the polls, Gal shares that she previously grasped the value of a single vote through school elections. From the little Ye-seung to a responsible voter, she shares her preparation journey and the excitement of facing her first presidential election.

SBS's special project for the 21st presidential election, 'The Start at Your Fingertips', will air on Saturday, June 24th, at 8 AM.
