Veteran Actor Choi Jung-woo Passes Away Suddenly at 68
Choi Jung-wooActor Choi Jung-woo has suddenly passed away, leaving the entertainment world in mourning at the age of 68.

On the 27th, Choi Jung-woo's agency, Bless ENT, announced, "Actor Choi Jung-woo has left us today." The exact cause of death has yet to be disclosed.

The funeral service is set up at Gimpo Woori Hospital Funeral Home in Gyeonggi Province. The funeral procession will take place at 10 a.m. on the 29th.

Born in 1957, Choi Jung-woo made his debut in the 1975 play "The Life of an Actor" and went on to have a prolific career spanning theater, voice acting, and numerous appearances in dramas and films. He was known for his roles in dramas such as "Painter of the Wind," "Shining Inheritance," "God's Quiz," "City Hunter," "My Daughter Seo-young," "Master's Sun," "Doctor Stranger," "The Legend of the Blue Sea," "Sisyphus," and "Juvenile Judgment." Recently, he appeared in the JTBC drama "The Tale of Lady Ok" and KBS 2TV's "Suspicious Lady."
