
Actor Woo Dabi has inked an exclusive contract with United Artist Agency (UAA).
On May 28, UAA announced, "Actor Woo Dabi has become the newest member of our family. With her irreplaceable charm and positive energy that uplifts everyone around her, Woo Dabi is an actor of limitless potential. We are committed to fully supporting her so she can showcase her true talent, grow further, and soar to new heights."
Since her acting debut in 2019, Woo Dabi has built a solid filmography by appearing in a series of hit productions such as the Netflix series 'Extracurricular', JTBC's 'Live On', KBS 2TV's 'At a Distance, Spring is Green', tvN's 'Melancholia', tvN's 'Poong, the Joseon Psychiatrist', and tvN's 'Maestra: Strings of Truth'.
Woo Dabi truly made her mark with the public through her role in the 2024 tvN sensation 'Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born', which became a phenomenal hit. In 'Jeongnyeon: The Star Is Born', she played the role of Hong Joo-ran, a trainee at the Maeran National Drama Company, portraying a character who, despite tough circumstances, passionately pursues her dreams, showcasing both her strong will and the character's warm, human side. This role earned her critical acclaim and solidified her status as an actor to watch for the next big thing.
In other news, Woo Dabi is set to star in the upcoming SBS drama 'Kisses Don't Come Free!' (literal title) scheduled for the second half of 2025, alongside Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin. Through 'Kisses Don't Come Free!', Woo Dabi is expected to reveal new facets of her acting prowess.
