Lee Soo-jung, the People Power Party's Suwon Jung District Committee Chairperson, shared KARINA's photo on her Facebook on the 28th, with a caption saying, "Touch KARINA and you're all dead." She added, "Don't mind the hypocrites' bullying. Secondary victimization is harsh, but let's overcome it."
KARINA had posted a photo of herself wearing a red windbreaker with the number 2 on it to Instagram the day before, which she deleted after speculation about her political stance started circulating. Many speculated that KARINA was showing support for Kim Moon-soo, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, ahead of the "Rose" Election, based on her outfit.
Prior to this, Baek Ji-won, the spokesperson for the People Power Party's Central Election Committee, also deleted a post from her Instagram the day before. She had written "SHOUT OUT TO" followed by aespa's hit songs 'Supernova' and 'Armageddon', including their music videos and background music.
