BTS's JIN has swept the major charts in the US with his solo album, proving his global influence. Not only did he make it into the top ranks of the main album chart, the 'Billboard 200', but he also achieved significant success on the song chart 'Hot 100'.
According to the latest chart (dated May 31) released by the American music publication Billboard on the 28th (Korean time), JIN's title track "Don't Say You Love Me" from his second mini-album 'Echo' has entered the Billboard main song chart 'Hot 100' at number 90.
This marks JIN's third appearance on the 'Hot 100' chart. Previously, he had placed his first solo single "The Astronaut" (at 51st) in 2022 and the title track "Running Wild" from his first solo album 'Happy' (at 53rd) on the chart in 2024.
JIN's presence is even more pronounced on the global song charts. "Don't Say You Love Me" shot straight to the top of the 'Digital Song Sales' chart. Additionally, the song ranked 5th on 'Global (excluding the US)' and 7th on 'Global 200'.
Notably, JIN dominated the 'World Digital Song Sales' chart, with his new songs filling the top six positions. Leading with "Nothing Without Your Love" at number one, followed by "Rope It", "Background", "Loser (feat. YENA)", "A Journey with the Clouds", and "To Myself Today" in succession. This phenomenon is often referred to as "chart-topping".
His album chart performance is also impressive. 'Echo' reached 3rd place on the Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200', marking JIN's personal best. It ranked 1st on 'World Albums' and 2nd on 'Top Album Sales'. This is the first time one of his solo works has topped the 'World Albums' chart.
Meanwhile, other BTS members' solo tracks continue to be beloved on the Billboard charts. From 'Global 200', JIMIN's second solo album 'MUSE' title track "Who" is at 103rd, and JUNGKOOK's first solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" is at 157th, successfully charting for 44 and 96 weeks, respectively. In 'Global (excluding the US)', "Who" is ranked 58th and "Seven (feat. Latto)" is at 82nd.
