Hollywood actor Byron Mann, who made his Korean film debut with 'Big Deal', was pleasantly surprised by the domestic film production methods.

At the press screening and roundtable for 'Big Deal' held in Yongsan CGV, Seoul, on the afternoon of the 29th, Byron Mann said, "When I first visited the production, they handed me a book. It was a storyboard. Hollywood doesn't do this, so it was both impressive and novel. Also, there was always someone on-site editing the footage that was shot, which is also not common in Hollywood, making it quite fascinating," he remarked.

He continued, "Honestly, I had no expectations when I started this project since it was my first time acting in a Korean movie. But as we filmed, I was amazed by the new methods and learned a lot. I was also deeply impressed by my co-stars Lee Je-hoon, Yoo Hae-jin, and Son Hyun-joo."

Byron Mann, known to international audiences for his roles in 'The Big Short' and 'Skyscraper', plays Gordon, the Hong Kong branch manager of the global investment firm Solqueen. He comes to Seoul to support the project led by In-beom (Lee Je-hoon) to sell off a national treasure soju brand.

Byron Mann, who visited Korea for the movie's release, will participate not only in the press screening but also in the premiere and stage greetings.

'Big Deal' tells the story of the 1997 IMF financial crisis, where the life of a finance director Jong-rok, who sees a soju company as his life, and In-beom, a global investment firm employee who only pursues performance, clash over the fate of Korea's national soju. The film stars Lee Je-hoon, Yoo Hae-jin, Son Hyun-joo, and Byron Mann.

The movie is set to premiere on the 30th.
