
BLACKPINK's JENNIE has made a generous donation of 100 million won to the Seoul National University College of Medicine.
On the 30th, the Seoul National University College of Medicine Development and Support Association announced, "JENNIE has donated 100 million won to the college's development fund, wishing to contribute to the cultivation of warm-hearted talents who can heal the world."
With this donation, the Seoul National University College of Medicine plans to further strengthen its educational and research environment and accelerate the cultivation of socially empathetic talents.
Dean Kim Jeong-eun of the Seoul National University College of Medicine expressed gratitude, saying, "We are deeply thankful for JENNIE's meaningful contribution, which goes beyond financial support to practicing positive influence. We will ensure our students grow into leaders equipped with qualities of inclusivity, reconciliation, empathy, communication, sacrifice, and consideration, meeting the trust and expectations of the public."
Last year, JENNIE's agency, OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER), also donated 100 million won to the Seoul National University College of Medicine, continuing their commitment to nurturing future medical talents.
Meanwhile, JENNIE launched her own agency, OA Entertainment (ODDATELIER), in 2023, embarking on a solo career. Her recent debut solo album, 'Ruby', showcasing her limitless musical potential, has made waves across various global charts, firmly establishing her as a solo artist.
