Cube Entertainment's rookie boy group NOWADAYS is taking flight under a new name, NOWZ.
On June 2nd, Cube Entertainment took to their official social media to unveil the logo motion for NOWZ, announcing the rebranding of NOWADAYS to NOWZ. Just one year after their debut, the group is undergoing a name change and rebranding, signaling a reestablishment of their identity and hinting at the unveiling of new possibilities as they aim to become the next big thing.
NOWZ stands for "drawing infinite possibilities at this moment," combining 'NOW' which signifies the present, with 'Z' symbolizing endless possibilities and a fresh start. Comprising members Hyunbin, Yoon, Yeonwoo, Jinhyuk, and Siyoon, NOWZ is set to break the mold with their unique music and concepts, showcasing their distinct identity more vividly.
Since their debut on April 2nd last year with the single album 'NOWADAYS', NOWZ has released a string of hits including the digital single 'Rainy day (2024 Remake ver.)', their second single 'NOWHERE', and the digital single 'Let's get it', showcasing their boldness and diverse charm as newcomers.
Last year, NOWZ made their mark as the rising stars by winning the IS Rookie Award at the '2024 Korea Grand Music Awards' and the Blooming Star Award at the '32nd Hanteo Music Awards 2024'. They were also spotlighted for their potential at the '39th Golden Disk Awards' as the chosen act for the 'Golden Choice' stage, and recently, they snagged the 'ASEA Hot Trend' award at 'ASEA 2025'.
