Disney+'s original series 'Nine Puzzles' has claimed the spot as the second most-watched Korean content in its debut week, following 'Moving'. This marks a significant achievement for Disney+, which has invested heavily in Korean content for years, finally producing a global hit.

'Nine Puzzles' is a mystery thriller that unravels the secrets of a series of murders that restart with the discovery of mysterious puzzle pieces. The story follows 'Yi Na' (played by Kim Da-mi), a current profiler and the sole witness to an unsolved case from ten years ago, and 'Han Saem' (played by Son Suk-ku), a detective who suspects her until the very end. Directed by Yoon Jong-bin, known for 'Nameless Gangster: Rules of the Time' and 'The Spy Gone North', this is his first foray into the mystery thriller genre and marks the first collaboration between Kim Da-mi and Son Suk-ku.

With nine episodes released over two weeks, the traditional mystery has received explosive reactions from viewers. The fun of guessing the culprit has been maximized, leading to widespread speculation and interpretation of the clues hidden by director Yoon Jong-bin and writer Lee Eun-mi.

Ahead of the final episodes (10-11) set to be released on June 4th, Disney+ has teased audiences with unreleased stills. The dynamic duo, Kim Da-mi and Son Suk-ku, have captivated viewers with their chemistry, navigating a complex relationship of suspicion and cooperation that stems from a decade-old case.

The images show Yi Na tirelessly profiling across crime scenes, the Han River Police Station, and Han Saem's home, raising questions about whether she can overcome her trauma and identify the real culprit. Meanwhile, Han Saem's relentless pursuit and layered emotions towards Yi Na are palpable as he investigates her past and present.

The tense appearance of Yang Jung-ho (played by Kim Sung-kyun), the head of the Han River Police Station's violent crimes unit, amidst reeds adds gravity to the drama, sparking curiosity about the consequences of his decisions. Additionally, the youngest team member, Choi San (played by Hyun Bong-sik), wearing an MZ-style hat gifted by Yi Na, injects vitality into the story, offering comic relief amidst the tension with his charming character.

'Nine Puzzles' will unveil its final episodes, 10-11, on June 4th (Wednesday).
