Activities such as incitement to disrupt activities, spreading false information, verbal abuse, and sexual harassment through malicious posts have caused not only the artist but also the fans to suffer emotional distress."
The agency continued, "Based on the evidence collected through reports and monitoring, we are preparing to take strong legal action. We will also continue to take legal measures against defamation and other damages to our artists in the future."
Previously, some netizens criticized KYUHYUN's gameplay after his appearance on Netflix's variety show 'The Devil's Plan: Death Room', leading to a barrage of hateful comments. In response, KYUHYUN reassured his fans on a fan community platform, saying, "Not everything can be shown on the broadcast. I have my regrets, but it can't be helped. I'll spill the beans in detail later, so don't be too upset."
