[Exclusive] Joo Hyun-young in Traffic Accident Yesterday; Focusing on Recovery for Now

Actress Joo Hyun-young was involved in a traffic accident while en route to a drama filming location on the 4th.

According to broadcast insiders, Joo was traveling with her manager to a shooting location in Hadong County, Gyeongsangnam-do, when their vehicle was involved in a highway collision on the afternoon of the 4th.

Following the accident, Joo received medical treatment at a hospital, but fortunately, her inJoories were reported to be not severe.

A representative from Joo Hyun-young's agency, AIMC, told SBS Entertainment News reporters, "There was a minor accident while moving to a shoot. Based on the assessment that rest and treatment are needed, we are currently rearranging the shooting schedule to focus on recovery for a few days."

Joo Hyun-young, who hosts the SBS POWER FM show 'Joo Hyun-young at Noon', will temporarily be replaced by special hosts for the time being.

Joo is currently filming for the upcoming second half of the year release, 'Ms. Incognito' (working title), where she is cast in the role of 'Baek Hye-ji'.
