YouTuber Yum-cast Opens Up About Undergoing Hysterectomy: "It Actually Feels Liberating"
Youtuber Yumdda
First-generation creator and entrepreneur Yum-cast has revealed she is currently recovering from a hysterectomy.

On the 4th, Yum-cast shared through her social media that she underwent a hysterectomy last month, disclosing, "I knew I had adenomyosis and uterine fibroids, but I kept postponing the surgery. My periods extended to nearly 20 days, and my anemia became severe. The fibroid grew to 8cm, pressing against my bladder and transplanted kidney." She detailed the deteriorating health conditions that led to her surgery.

Having had a kidney transplant in the past, Yum-cast mentioned, "I was told recovery might be slow due to being a transplant recipient and the nature of the surgery, but it turns out I'm recovering three times faster than expected, which even earned me some praise." She continued, "I had many concerns, but now that it's done, I feel truly liberated. It was foolish of me to delay taking care of my health, using busyness or unsuitable circumstances as excuses."

Last July, Yum-cast announced her divorce from fellow YouTuber Buzzbean after nine years of marriage. She is currently raising their son on her own.
