On the 9th, SBS's 'Same Bed, Different Dreams 2 – You Are My Destiny' featured actor Yang Dong-geun as a special guest MC.
The episode introduced actors Song Jae-hee and Ji So-yeon as the new destined couple. Yang Dong-geun, a friend and peer of Song Jae-hee, joined to support his friend, drawing attention.
Yang Dong-geun, who mentioned his appearance in 'Squid Game Season 3', shared that his wife also went through a 'Squid Game' of her own during the drama's filming period.
He explained, "Being away from home for over six months due to long hours on set, my wife had to single-handedly take care of our three kids and manage the household, which was quite challenging for her."
Upon hearing this, Lee Hyun-yi commented on the "survival-level parenting" situation, showing deep understanding for Yang Dong-geun's wife. Kim Gu-ra sympathized, saying, "Given the magnitude of the project, I can imagine she couldn't voice her struggles and suffered in silence."
Yang Dong-geun then lightened the mood by joking, "That's right. When I mentioned filming 'Squid Game', I saw a look in her eyes that I hadn't seen during other projects," eliciting laughter.
