Cube Entertainment's rookie boy group NOWZ is teaming up with I-DLE's YUQI.
Cube Entertainment unveiled on the 9th through its official channels the character film for the pre-release single of NOWZ's debut mini album 'IGNITION'.
The video captured attention as YUQI's rabbit character 'Kkiki' swung a lollipop, transforming into five sparkling jewels representing the NOWZ members as a monkey (HYEONBIN), a puppy (YOON), a dinosaur (YEONWOO), a bear (JINHYUK), and a fox (SIYUN). The special encounter between Cube Entertainment's senior YUQI and the junior group NOWZ has heightened anticipation for NOWZ's comeback.
YUQI has previously contributed to I-DLE's songs 'i'M THE TREND', 'LOST', 'Giant', 'Young Adult', 'Last Forever', and the recently released track 'Love Tease' from I-DLE's eighth mini album 'We are'. Especially with her first solo mini album 'YUQ1' released last April, she proved her exceptional songwriting skills and charm. There's growing interest in what kind of synergy the supportive YUQI will create with NOWZ as they embark on a new beginning.
Meanwhile, NOWZ is set to release a pre-release single ahead of their first mini album 'IGNITION' on the 17th.
