34-year-old singer-songwriter Yoon DDanDDan and his wife, 32-year-old singer-songwriter Eun Jong, have announced they are in the process of divorcing after six years of marriage. It has also been revealed that Eun Jong won an adultery lawsuit against Yoon DDanDDan.
On the 12th, Eun Jong shared on her social media that "From our dating days, emotional fights escalated to the point of physical and mental harm. Despite recognizing these issues, we married, believing in each other. However, the problems persisted."
Initially, Yoon DDanDDan had announced his marriage to Eun Jong after five years of dating, admitting, "I've caused her a lot of distress. From other women to personality clashes, slips of the tongue, and mistakes in behavior, I've turned her world upside down in many ways," pledging to live a devoted life as her husband.
Eun Jong stated in her post, "Despite my best efforts to maintain our relationship, repeated infidelities and subsequent violent arguments made it impossible to recover. This led to the adultery lawsuit and separation," adding, "We are currently in the process of negotiating a divorce."
Eun Jong explained the reason for her post, "It's not to blame or attack anyone. I wrote this to protect my future without hiding anymore. I sincerely hope this doesn't lead to more conflicts or hurt, and that the intention behind this record remains pure, especially for those close to me."
Yoon DDanDDan, who debuted in 2014, is a singer-songwriter. He also released an album titled 'Honeymoon Diary' the year after his marriage, sharing stories of his newlywed life.
Eun Jong, who also debuted in 2014, has released several tracks including 'Dear My Friends', 'One Room', and more.
