Influencer Seo Min-jae has publicly reached out to her ex-boyfriend, asking for communication, a month after revealing their child together.
On the 15th, Seo Min-jae took to her social media stating, "Reach out. How do you plan to take responsibility? Does avoiding the situation change anything?" adding, "Even animals don't abandon their offspring," expressing her resentment.
Last month, Seo Min-jae disclosed her pregnancy by posting photos and personal information of her boyfriend. Following this, her boyfriend, through legal representation, claimed he intended to take responsibility for the child and accused Seo Min-jae of defamation, false imprisonment, threats, and assault.
In response, Seo Min-jae lamented in her recent post, "Suing a pregnant woman for stalking, imposing a no-contact order, and then hiding. Must be nice living like that. Making a mess, suing, and then ghosting as if nothing happened, while continuing with school and work as usual."
Regarding her ex-boyfriend's public legal action against her, Seo Min-jae stated that the accusation of 'imprisonment' is utterly baseless and never happened, emphasizing that all she wants from her ex-boyfriend is 'paternal responsibility' and 'a sincere conversation'.
Seo Min-jae first became known in 2020 through Channel A's dating reality show 'Heart Signal' Season 3. A former Miss Korea contestant from North Gyeongsang Province, Seo Min-jae made history as Hyundai Motor Company's first female mechanic hired through their recruitment program. Last January, she and singer Nam Tae-hyun were sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years, for methamphetamine use.
