Actress Han Ye-ri is parting ways with her agency, Saram Entertainment, after a 15-year partnership.
Saram Entertainment announced, "After thorough discussions with actress Han Ye-ri, we have mutually decided to conclude our management relationship that spanned 15 years. We sincerely thank Han Ye-ri for her time with Saram Entertainment."
In conjunction with the announcement, a photo shoot from the July issue of 'Marie Claire' featuring Han Ye-ri and Saram Entertainment's CEO Lee So-young was released, drawing attention with messages of mutual support and reflections on their long journey in the entertainment industry as they prepare for new beginnings.
The photo spread captures the two in matching black outfits, gazing in the same direction in a corridor, symbolizing their shared goals over the years. Another striking image shows them in white attire, seemingly deep in conversation across a table, highlighting their mutual affection. Additionally, a photo of them sitting side by side, smiling brightly, showcases their close bond.
When asked if they had shared dreams over the years, CEO Lee So-young expressed, "If there was a dream, it was to see Han Ye-ri shine in the brightest spot where she could be loved and appreciated the most, surrounded by people who truly recognize her value." This statement reflects Lee's deep affection for both the actress and the person Han Ye-ri is.
Han Ye-ri shared, "More than any grand goal or dream, we shared a direction, which I believe was 'gratitude.' CEO Lee So-young deeply considered how I could become a beloved figure in the film industry, naturally helping me find my value. She also ensured that others could cherish and utilize my talents." Han expressed her gratitude for Lee's guidance over the years.
CEO Lee So-young conveyed her belief that "the time ahead will be a process for Han Ye-ri to spread the love she received at Saram Entertainment," offering her steadfast support.
Han Ye-ri added, "While it may seem like a simple goodbye, from the perspective of those building this industry, it's a very positive development. Just as much as I love the CEO, I'm willing to join forces whenever needed, and I know she'll support me wholeheartedly in return. We'll continue to explore ways to grow together, eagerly anticipating each other's progress." Han emphasized that their bond would remain strong even after the end of their management contract.
