TV personality Seo Yuri has openly addressed the controversies surrounding her divorce and appearances on "provocative broadcasts," declaring her intention to tackle misunderstandings head-on through her show.
In the upcoming 5th episode of the YouTube show 'Sister's Pajama Party,' titled 'The Divorcee Special,' airing on the 25th, Seo Yuri, alongside guest Nancy Lang, makes a bold appearance to share her unfiltered life as a newly single woman, one year and eight years post-divorce, respectively.
Seo Yuri revealed, "The debt I incurred after my divorce actually amounts to 2 billion won. I've managed to pay off about 1.3 billion won so far. Despite being advised by friends to file for bankruptcy, I feel responsible since I lent my name to my ex-husband, and I'm determined to pay off the debt in full," she confessed.
Additionally, Seo Yuri surprised viewers by disclosing the existence of a new man in her life.
"I've recently started seeing someone. When I told him I'd be appearing on 'Sister's Pajama Party,' he went out and bought me a pajama to wear on the show," she said.
Moreover, Seo Yuri shared her thoughts on the negative comments she received following her internet broadcast appearances and opened up about her life before and after marriage, promising an honest insight into her views.
Seo Yuri married producer Choi in 2019 but faced a marital breakdown in March last year, finalizing their divorce in June of the same year.
She also found herself at the center of controversy for participating in "provocative broadcasts," where participants engage in dance battles and receive virtual gifts from viewers, but she ultimately left the show in May.
