In the final episode of ENA and SBS Plus's dating show 'I Am Solo' Season 26, Hyun-sook made the surprising choice of picking Kwang-soo, but in reality, she found love with Young-sik.
In the shocking finale of 'I Am Solo' Season 26 aired on the 25th, Hyun-sook broke everyone's expectations by choosing Kwang-soo. In an interview, she explained, "I got swept away. Hard to believe, right? Maybe it was because of the repetition, or perhaps I became numb to it, or maybe it was like being brainwashed, or perhaps things just got more comfortable."
Before the broadcast, Kwang-soo appeared on a YouTube channel and made a careless comment about the family backgrounds of the contestants, including lawyer Jung-sook and Hyun-sook, saying, "They came from poor families and studied hard to become lawyers." This remark drew criticism from many.
After the finale of 'I Am Solo,' a live broadcast on YouTube's 'Chonjang Entertainment TV' brought together the solo men and women of Season 26. Kwang-soo and Hyun-sook did not attend due to personal reasons.
During the broadcast, Young-sik shared, "For those curious about Hyun-sook and Kwang-soo, who couldn't join us today due to their own reasons, the two did spend some time getting to know each other after leaving the show, but it didn't develop into a good relationship."
He continued, "After some twists and turns, I'm now happily seeing Hyun-sook. She's been playfully teasing me a lot lately. We're currently a couple."
When asked if he often meets Hyun-sook in Pangyo, Young-sik replied, "We're doing well. We see each other a lot in Pangyo. Our offices are right next to each other. Hardly anyone has recognized us. We've been cautious."
In the final episode of 'I Am Solo' Season 26, the couple that initially ended up together, Sang-chul and Jung-sook, are now separated.
