'Ghost Train' Starring Joo Hyun-young Pre-Sold in 72 Countries

The horror film "Ghost Train," starring Joo Hyun-young, has been pre-sold in 72 countries.

"Ghost Train" is a mystery horror film where a horror YouTuber named 'Da-kyung' (played by Joo Hyun-young), desperate for views, uncovers the secrets of Gwangrim Station, a place plagued by a series of mysterious disappearances, and faces a horrifying event.

The film has recently completed pre-sales in various regions including Asia―Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, Mongolia, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia―as well as Eastern Europe, North America, and South America.

Notably, starting with Malaysia on July 10th, the film will be released sequentially in Vietnam, Indonesia, Mongolia, Singapore, and Cambodia by the end of July, generating significant international buzz.

Distributors from Taiwan and Malaysia expressed their anticipation, saying, "'Ghost Train' offers the most chilling ride experience, serving as a perfect escape from Taiwan's scorching heat," and "Amid the ongoing enthusiasm for Korean films, 'Ghost Train' is expected to captivate Malaysian audiences with its provocative concept and intriguing storytelling."

Before its domestic release, "Ghost Train" has garnered enthusiastic responses from 72 countries and is scheduled to premiere in theaters on July 9th.
