Last year's JTBC hit show 'EXchange 3' stars, Dongjin and Dahye, are stepping up for a heartwarming cause.
The couple will be the 27th guests at the SEED Concert Hall in Suwon on August 2nd, participating in the band 'Double Decker Bus's' regular charity concert.
This concert aims to raise funds for cochlear implant surgery for children with hearing disabilities, with all proceeds going to charity. Notably, Dongjin and Dahye plan to donate in their names, making the gesture even more meaningful.
Before the performance, Dahye and Dongjin shared, "We're thrilled to be part of such a meaningful event. For us, who have lived our lives singing and listening to music, 'sound' was something we took for granted. However, we've come to realize through this opportunity that for some kids, even the nagging of their mother or the noise of construction could be a lifelong wish."
They added, "We'll put our hearts into performing not 'our song' but 'their stage' on the day of the concert. We hope many of you will join us in this event where simply listening contributes to the cause."
This concert will also feature a special duet performance by Dahye and Dongjin, along with the premiere of an unreleased song, raising fans' anticipation.
The charity concert is hosted by the project band 'Double Decker Bus,' led by producer Kim Hyung-kyu, with members Jenny Yoon (violin), Lee Sun-ho (vocals), Lee Sang-in (keyboard), Park Sung-ryong (drums), Park Dong-hyuk (bass), Yeon Tae-hee and Lee Chang-woo (guitar), Lee So-woon (percussion), and directors Kwon Seok-hong, Park Dong-jun, and Je Jun-geun. They aim to gift the beautiful sound to 100 children with hearing disabilities through their continuous charity work.
Ticket sales for the concert start today via Melon Tickets, promising a warm summer stage where the audience's participation becomes a 'miracle of sound.'
