A couple from a drama a decade ago is making it official in real life. Actors Kim Ga-eun and Yoon Sun-woo are set to tie the knot this October.
The pair first met on the set of the 2014 KBS's drama 'Single-Minded Dandelion' and continued their friendship and trust beyond the show's finale. Their relationship blossomed into romance, and after nearly a decade of quietly nurturing their love, they are finally set to celebrate their union this fall.
Representatives from Kim Ga-eun's agency, Prain TPC, and Yoon Sun-woo's agency, 935 Entertainment, announced on the 1st that "the two actors are planning to have their wedding in October." They added, "The ceremony will be a private affair, attended only by family, close friends, and acquaintances." They also requested "warm blessings and support for the couple's new beginning."
Yoon Sun-woo has built a solid filmography since his debut in 2003, showcasing his stable acting skills in works such as 'Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo', 'Hot Stove League', and 'The Third Marriage'. He is also set to meet the audience on stage in the play 'My Mister' on August 22.
Kim Ga-eun, who debuted in 2009 as an SBS 11th generation public talent, has actively shown a wide acting range through various works like 'Giant', 'Brain', 'Because This Is My First Life', 'Under the Queen's Umbrella', and 'King the Land'.
