The legendary skit 'Infinite Company' from the variety show 'Infinite Challenge' has brought back intern Gill after a decade.
Singer Gill revealed his collaboration with popular comedy YouTuber 'Beautiful Nerd' on his YouTube channel on the 1st. 'Beautiful Nerd' is known for its satirical comedy content in the form of fake documentaries and web dramas, targeting the young generation with 1.31 million subscribers.
This collaboration introduces a new episode paying homage to 'Infinite Company', featuring 'Beautiful Nerd's gen Z employee 'Seung-gi' and his adventures upon landing a job at the company.
In the skit, Gill reprises his role as 'Employee Gill', who had transitioned from an intern to a full-time employee in 'Infinite Company', now playing Seung-gi's boss and bringing laughter to the audience.

For the shoot, Gill donned a perfect disguise reminiscent of his 'Infinite Company' days, complete with checkered pants, a long-haired wig, and a Namdaemun market jacket.
He expressed his excitement about the collaboration, saying, "My brother Beautiful Nerd, the views are no joke. You're like royalty among the 10s and 20s." He added, "They told me to just show up in my Gill intern outfit, so I went to Namdaemun market to buy it all over again," sharing his unfamiliar yet welcoming feelings about the YouTube scene.
During the shoot, despite complaining about the heat, he was amazed by the serious atmosphere of the YouTube filming, saying, "I never thought Gill the intern would be revived here," showing his own surprise and delight.
He also humorously promoted himself, saying, "I've been in a few commercial films. I was in Ryoo Seung-wan's 'Dachimawa Lee' and Bae Yong-joon's 'Tears'. I was a Hallyu actor."
The collaboration video 'Searching for Youngsters: IndieGround' released by 'Beautiful Nerd' on the 29th of last month, garnered 810,000 views in just four days, creating quite the buzz.
Viewers who saw Gill's surprise appearance at the end of the video commented, "Why is Gill here?", "So glad to see him," and "He's exactly like the Gill intern from 'Infinite Company'."
'Infinite Company' began as a skit series in 2011 during 'Infinite Challenge's' company outing, with 'Intern Gill' evolving from an intern to a full-time employee before being laid off. The series concluded with 'Infinite Company―The Crisis of the Company Man' in 2016.
With Gill's long-awaited return, there is growing anticipation on how the 'Infinite Company' universe will expand into the YouTube era.
