Koyote's Shinji recently shared news of her engagement, revealing that her fiance, MoonOne, has a past marriage and a daughter. This revelation prompted a mix of concern and support from fans, to which Shinji offered a meaningful response.
On the 2nd, Shinji's YouTube channel "How About Shinji?!" featured a video titled "Who's Taking Our Shinji Away?" which quickly garnered nearly a million views in just a day, with over 27,000 comments showing explosive interest.
In the video, Shinji introduces her fiance, singer MoonOne, to Koyote members Kim Jong-min and Baekga. During the meal, Shinji mentioned, "Since this is a formal introduction, there's something serious I want to talk about first," leading Moonwon to confess, "I've been married once before and have a lovely daughter." He added, "Although my ex-wife is raising our daughter, I'm continuously making efforts to communicate and fulfill my responsibilities."
Shinji acknowledged the potential for concern, stating, "I understand there might be some worried looks, but I was reassured by his responsible attitude."
However, following the video's release, fans flooded the comments section with their concerns.

One fan in particular wrote on Shinji's social media, "As a fan, I'm concerned. You really need to be careful with men. Dating and marriage are different. I hope you've thought this through. I respect your decision and hope you're blessed and find happiness." To this, Shinji simply replied, "Thank you," addressing her fans' worries.
Born in 1981, Shinji debuted with Koyote in 1998 and has received national love for hits like 'Pure Love', 'Heartbreak', 'Blue', and 'Dream'. Since 2004, she has continued to be an active member of Koyote alongside Kim Jong-min and Baekga.
MoonOne, seven years Shinji's junior, made his debut in 2012 with the ballad "Let's Live Together". The couple is planning to marry in the first half of next year.
