Artist and producer ZICO has created joyful memories with his fans.
ZICO held the 'ZICO FANMEETING <COMvenience>' on the 5th and 6th of July at the Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where he connected with his fans.
The fan meeting was designed with a convenience store concept, aiming to create a comfortable atmosphere as if chatting with a friend in front of a convenience store on a summer night. ZICO, adopting the role of a part-time worker at the 'COMMON convenience store' named after his fandom, energetically kicked off the meeting with 'Summer Hate'.
ZICO entertained his fans with a total of 8 band live performances and witty segments. He performed songs requested by the audience on the spot and took on various challenges. Additionally, he engaged in a balance game, wore different outfits, and fulfilled numerous requests from fans, making for a memorable time. As a 14-year veteran artist, ZICO communicated with fans in a relaxed manner, showcasing a delightful back-and-forth.
Upon hearing a fan's story about waiting for his comeback, ZICO previewed a part of a work-in-progress track and exclusively revealed the guide version of 'like JENNIE', a song he wrote and composed for BLACKPINK's JENNIE, gathering enthusiastic responses. "I'm always actively working on new music. I consider the timing of releases, the quality of the music, and the message I want to convey, setting high standards and working hard. I'll continue to work diligently on new songs, features, and productions so you can enjoy my music," he said, earning a round of applause.
ZICO shone the brightest during his vocal performances. His polished stage presence combined with the live band music resulted in a spectacular show. The setlist, richly filled with different songs each day, included hits like 'Any Song', 'Artist', 'Boys And Girls (Feat. Babylon)', and fan favorites 'I'm Still Fly', 'Letter', heating up the atmosphere. The audience enthusiastically sang along, danced, and enjoyed the performance. In response to the fervent reaction, ZICO unexpectedly performed 'SPOT! (feat. JENNIE)' as an encore.
In conclusion, ZICO expressed his heartfelt thanks: "I'm grateful for sharing a day that will be remembered over time. I'll work hard so we can have more days like this. I'll strive to make 'see you again' and 'see you later' familiar phrases between us." He continued, "I aim to be an artist you can be proud of. There will be no stopping in my music," promising an active future and raising expectations.
