Choi Ji-woo is set to appear as a guest on the upcoming episode of SBS's entertainment show 'Whenever Possible,' airing on the 8th.
During the previously recorded episode, Choi Ji-woo shared her current focus on parenting. Reuniting with Yoo Jae-suk after a long time, she vented, "These days, I do nothing but take care of my child, and yet, I'm always so busy."
Previously, Choi Ji-woo made headlines for giving birth to her first child at the age of 46. She explained, "It's important to connect with other moms, so I try to meet them as much as possible. It's tough, but I diligently follow along," expressing her struggle with the ever-increasing difficulty of parenting.
Hearing this, Yoo Yeon-seok joked, "Aren't most of the other moms almost like your younger siblings?" To which Choi Ji-woo replied, "It's not just a matter of being younger siblings. Many of them were born in the '90s, so there's a 20-year gap. I just try my best to keep up," making Yoo Yeon-seok burst into laughter with her resigned addition.
Meanwhile, Yoo Jae-suk and Choi Ji-woo heated up their parenting talk by discussing discipline styles.
Yoo Jae-suk noticed Choi Ji-woo's uniquely firm tone and said, "This must come out when you're disciplining, right? There's authority in your voice."
Choi Ji-woo bittersweetly confessed, "That's because it's the prime time for discipline. I can't raise my voice, so it ends up like this," to which Yoo Jae-suk empathetically responded, "Your voice carries weight, doesn't it? But that's how it has to be for moms and dads. You want to speak kindly, but you end up having to discipline," making Choi Ji-woo laugh out loud.
She then shared, "This is the time to do it right. Even if my child cries, I say, 'What's not allowed is not allowed,'" impressing Yoo Jae-suk with her seasoned disciplining skills.
As Yoo Jae-suk and Choi Ji-woo bond over parenting, viewers are eager to see the chemistry they will bring to the streets of Yangjae-dong. 'Whenever Possible,' airs this Tuesday at 9 PM.
