In response to the recent surge of speculation online, she firmly stated, "Not all of it is true," and apologized to the public for causing any distress.
On the 8th, Shinji posted a lengthy message on her Instagram. She expressed, "I feel heavy-hearted thinking that the news of my marriage has caused you fatigue. At the same time, I've realized once again how much love I've received from you all. I sincerely thank you."
She continued, "It took time to verify the facts regarding various suspicions, which is why it took me a while to make a statement. After reviewing all your concerned opinions and suspicions with my agency, we've confirmed that they are not true."
Shinji also acknowledged the public's concerns. She stated, "I fully understand the concerns and attention you've shown. I will reflect and be more cautious. I would sincerely appreciate it if you could give us some time and observe how things unfold."
On the same day, her agency JG Star also released an official statement, reinforcing Shinji's position by confirming, "After checking the various suspicions about Mr. MoonOne, we have found them to be without merit."
Previously, MoonOne appeared on Shinji's YouTube channel and met with members Kim Jong-min and Bbaekga, during which he revealed he was divorced. However, his remark, "I didn't know Shinji was this famous," landed him in hot water with the public, and subsequently, allegations of illegal real estate dealings, school violence, and military harassment surfaced.
Shinji and MoonOne are planning to hold their wedding in Seoul in the first half of next year.
