After a lengthy legal battle, Sangchul (nickname) from the ENA·SBS Plus reality show 'I Am Solo' Season 16 revealed that Youngsook (nickname) was found guilty of defamation in the first trial.

On the 9th, Sangchul expressed his feelings on his social media, saying, "I'm grateful to the court for making the right decision, and I deeply appreciate my lawyer who has always patiently and justly represented and guided me. There's still work to be done, so please continue to support me." It has been reported that Sangchul is also planning to file a civil lawsuit against Youngsook.

On this day, the Daegu District Court's 10th Criminal Division (Chief Judge Heo Jeong-in) fined broadcaster Youngsook (pseudonym·Baek Mo-si) 2 million won for charges of defamation and insult under the Information and Communications Network Act.

The court stated, "The defendant seriously damaged the victim's social reputation by spreading false information," and considered "the extent of mental anguish and the range of online dissemination" in its sentencing.

Youngsook became controversial in 2023 for revealing private conversations and so-called 'lewd messages' with Sangchul, her co-star on 'I Am Solo' Season 16, on social media and her personal live broadcasts.
