"Here Comes the Wild Rugby Team" 'The Winning Try' Kim Yohan & Jo Han-gyeol's Crazy Rugby Team Unveils
TryThe members of the Hanyang High School rugby team, set to showcase the vigor of youth in SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'The Winning Try', have been unveiled.

Scheduled to premiere on the 25th, the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'The Winning Try' (written by Lim Jin-ah, directed by Jang Young-seok) is a comedic growth sports drama that follows the unpredictable eccentric coach Joo Ga-ram and the perennial underdog Hanyang High School rugby team as they sprint towards national championship victory. The drama, co-directed by Jang Young-seok of 'Taxi Driver 2' fame and penned by Lim Jin-ah, a winner of the SBS Cultural Foundation's script contest, has garnered attention with the inclusion of a cast boasting solid acting skills and vibrant energy, including Yoon Kye-sang (as Joo Ga-ram), Lim Se-mi (as Bae Yi-ji), and Kim Yohan (as Yoon Sung-jun).

Among them, the stills of the seven members of the underdog rugby team, including Kim Yohan, Kim Yi-jun, Lee Su-chan, Yoon Jae-chan, Hwang Sung-bin, Pyo Seon-ho, and Jo Han-gyeol, were released on the 10th, drawing keen interest.

Kim Yohan transforms into Yoon Sung-jun, the strict captain of the Hanyang High School rugby team, exuding reliable captain vibes even on the field. Kim Yi-jun plays the vice-captain Oh Young-kwang, who dreams of escaping the rugby team to become a civil servant, while Lee Su-chan portrays So Myung-woo, a content fanatic who prioritizes filming over rugby. Additionally, Yoon Jae-chan takes on the role of Do Hyung-sik, the icon of sudden acceleration, and Hwang Sung-bin is Kim Joo-yang, who has the physique of a bull but the tender emotions of the opposite. Pyo Seon-ho transforms into the foodie Woo Min-gyu, and Jo Han-gyeol plays the audacious youngest member Kang Tae-poong, with all seven members of the Hanyang High School rugby team armed with insane charm for their launch.

The photos released today capture the team's early days, sparking curiosity. They promise a fierce competition of charm that catches the eye.

First off, Yoon Sung-jun's figure, with his well-defined shoulders and muscles honed through sports, captures attention in the middle of the field, exploding with warmth.

The visuals of Yoon Sung-jun, exuding a solid captain's presence, contrast with the revealed images of third-year rugby team members Oh Young-kwang and So Myung-woo. Oh Young-kwang is seen studying hard on the bench, his intellectual appearance belied by a string of wrong answers, causing laughter. Meanwhile, So Myung-woo, clutching a camera instead of a rugby ball during a game, exudes an attention-seeker's aura, eliciting laughter. Especially, Yoon Sung-jun, Oh Young-kwang, and So Myung-woo, as third-year classmates, are expected to show a close-knit chemistry, fighting and growing closer.

Moreover, Do Hyung-sik, unpredictable as a rugby ball, Kim Joo-yang with his high school-defying physique and gaze, and Pyo Seon-ho, squatting on the field and devouring bread in a frenzy, the second-year rugby team members also step up with unique characters for a laugh score. Lastly, Kang Tae-poong, not your typical first-year, gears up with audacity, raising expectations.

Thus, with Kim Yohan leading the way, Kim Yi-jun, Lee Su-chan, Yoon Jae-chan, Hwang Sung-bin, Woo Min-gyu, and Jo Han-gyeol, all equipped with solid acting skills and fresh charm, join forces to depict the face of youth, clashing with full force to create a wildly comedic chemistry, heightening anticipation.

'The Winning Try', set to fill this summer with the passionate energy of youth, will premiere on the 25th (Friday) at 9:50 PM, following the currently airing 'Our Movie'.
