PENTAGON member HUI has paused all activities after sustaining a broken nose during a variety show filming. Consequently, he will also miss the final performance of the musical 'Singin' in the Rain' he was part of.

His agency, Cube Entertainment, announced on the 10th, "HUI suffered a broken nose during a ball game on JTBC's 'The Gentlemen's League 4' on the 9th. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment, and based on the medical team's advice, he will focus on treatment and recovery for the time being."

HUI had been performing in the original musical 'Singin' in the Rain' as the character 'Dong-hyun' since its opening in April. However, he is now unable to participate in the scheduled final show on the 13th. The production company, Borderless Company, informed through official social media and ticketing platforms on the 10th, "Due to HUI's injury during filming, the casting for the July 13th (Sunday) 3 PM show will regrettably change to actor DKZ JONGHYEONG."

Borderless Company expressed, "We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by this sudden change. Actor HUI is also deeply regretful for not being able to join the last performance and extends his apologies to the audience. We are profoundly grateful to actor JONGHYEONG for stepping in to fill the vacancy."

Since his debut as the leader of PENTAGON in 2016, HUI has been recognized as a talented composer idol, producing hit songs like 'Critical Beauty', 'Shine', and 'Naughty Boy'.

Recently, he joined 'The Gentlemen's League 4', showcasing his charm as an 'athlete idol'. His past as a long-distance runner during elementary school and a story about being scouted by a soccer team have also drawn attention.
