The July 13th episode of SBS's 'Running Man' was a special 15th-anniversary edition.
During the episode, the cast held a celebration party, even recreating their outfits from 2010.
From Yoo Jae-suk, who perfectly replicated a trendy item from that time, to Choi Daniel, who brought to life a character from a drama airing back then, the cast's efforts caught everyone's attention.
To celebrate Running Man's 15th anniversary without any mishaps, a special guest appeared. Super Junior, marking their 20th debut anniversary this year, was the guest of honor.
LeeTeuk, EunHyuk, and KyuHyun performed their new song, and KyuHyun, who is actively pursuing a career as a balladeer, humorously showed he was struggling to keep up with the other members.
Together, the members and Super Junior competed in a race for the ultimate prize of gold, saying, "You might just take the gold home."
They had to collect as many R-coins as possible through various missions to win the gold. The fewer R-coins one had, the higher the chance of facing a penalty, so everyone was focused on the missions.
In a spicy food eating challenge, LeeTeuk bravely tackled the highest level, the 15th stage, and then discreetly disappeared, drawing attention.
When he returned with milk, the members teased him, asking if he had gone to the bathroom. LeeTeuk, maintaining his cool, claimed he had received an important call and brought the milk just in case someone else needed it, adding a humorous twist.
The members also celebrated Super Junior's 20th anniversary. When asked if they've come this far without any changes in the lineup, Super Junior joked, "There have been changes in members. But since we originally had so many, it's hardly noticeable."
And to the question of whether they still fight, they responded, "We still fight. But we can't fight with the same intensity as we used to."
Meanwhile, KyuHyun and Kim Jong-kook were the final winners of the day, receiving gold rings as prizes, while LeeTeuk, EunHyuk, and Ji Ye-eun faced the ultimate penalty of getting hit with cream pies, proving their unfortunate luck.
