He mentioned, "Having revealed myself on 'Steel Troops' among other shows and being active on social media, I knew I had some influence, but I never dreamed it would be to this extent. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for the unexpected attention and love. We plan to continue creating beautiful moments with the love and support you give us."
He continued, "My news has unintentionally become a public topic, so I would like to make a request. My partner is a regular person," hoping that their partner's face would not be revealed elsewhere.
Furthermore, "Many have described me as 'brave' and 'confident' upon hearing my news. To me, it was simply an act of recording a part of my life, but it has become an act of not hiding for others, and I seem to be perceived as a strong person who can raise their voice," he elaborated. "I believe in respecting all forms of love that exist in this world, regardless of their nature. This is a reflection of my personal values towards love, which deserves respect simply for existing."
He added, "I feel that there are many like us. I hope you too can find the courage in your love. We all have the right to be happy."
Kwak Sun-hee became a topic of conversation on the 13th when he came out as a member of the LGBTQ+ community and shared a photo with his same-sex partner on social media. A former lieutenant of the 53rd Infantry Division, Kwak Sun-hee gained fame as the team leader of the Army team on Channel A's 'Steel Troops' last year. He is currently working as a model and marathon runner.
