Actress Lee Hye-young has recently donated 20 million won to help neighbors suffering from the severe damages caused by the ongoing extreme rainfall.

The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association (Chairman Song Pil-ho) announced on the 18th that "Actress Lee Hye-young has donated to support the victims struggling due to the concentrated heavy rain."

Lee Hye-young shared, "Hearing about people losing their homes due to the heavy rain weighed heavily on my heart. I wanted to help in any way I could." She added, "I sincerely hope the rain stops soon, and the residents of the affected areas can return to their peaceful daily lives."

Lee Hye-young, who has always been at the forefront of charitable activities, is a member of the 'Honors Club,' a group of major donors at Hope Bridge. Since the 2019 Gangwon wildfire, she has consistently practiced good deeds whenever disasters occurred. Including this donation, her total contributions through Hope Bridge have reached 180 million won.

Shin Hoon, the Secretary-General of Hope Bridge, expressed deep gratitude, saying, "We are deeply thankful to donor Lee Hye-young, who always extends a helping hand first when disasters strike. The donated funds will be used swiftly and transparently to support the livelihood and housing restoration of the affected residents."
