Coupang Play has announced actor Park Seo-jun as the ceremonial kick-off guest for the second match of the '2025 Coupang Play Series' between Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United. Park is well-known for his close friendship with Tottenham's captain, Son Heung-min.
Scheduled for August 3rd (Sunday) at the Seoul World Cup Stadium, the second match of the '2025 Coupang Play Series' sold out in just 15 minutes for presale and 40 minutes for general sale, proving once again the fervent interest of soccer fans. Additionally, a halftime special performance by K-POP legends 2NE1 has been confirmed.
Park Seo-jun, who will be taking the ceremonial kick-off, shared, "As a soccer fan, I'm thrilled to watch my two favorite teams play in my home country. I'll be there, cheering them on with all the fans."
The Seoul World Cup Stadium will host a variety of programs exclusive to the 'Coupang Play Series', including fan zones for team support, trophy ceremonies, a dedicated MD store for limited edition merchandise, and various experience zones, ensuring a multi-faceted enjoyment of this soccer event.
