TV personalities Hong Hyun-hee and Jason have donated 20 million won to help victims of the recent heavy rains.
The Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association announced on the 21st that "Hong Hyun-hee and Jason have contributed 20 million won to aid in the recovery efforts for those affected by the flood damage," adding that "the donation will be used for emergency relief and recovery activities for the victims of the heavy rains."
Hong Hyun-hee and Jason shared, "Seeing the damage through the news has been heartbreaking. We know the rain will stop soon, but recovery will take much longer. We hope our contribution helps speed up the recovery process."
The couple has previously participated in donations during the 2020 flood and has consistently practiced warm sharing through Hope Bridge whenever major disasters occurred.
Shin Hoon, the secretary-general of Hope Bridge, expressed deep gratitude for their empathy and sharing towards the victims, stating, "The donation will be swiftly and accurately delivered to where it is most needed on the ground."
