The film 'No Other Choice', eagerly awaited as a contender at the Venice International Film Festival, has unveiled four exclusive stills for the first time.
'No Other Choice' tells the story of 'Mansoo' (Lee Byung-hun), a company employee who thought he had everything in life, suddenly gets laid off. To protect his wife and two children, and to save the house he worked hard to acquire, he prepares for his own battle towards reemployment.
Raising expectations as Park Chan-wook's third invitation to the Venice International Film Festival, 'No Other Choice' has once again captured attention by releasing four exclusive stills. The images of Lee Byung-hun and Son Ye-jin as a couple, and Lee Byung-hun's dramatic transformation, have sparked curiosity.

A still of 'Mansoo' in the yard, embracing his wife 'Miri' (Son Ye-jin) and their two children, captures a moment of harmony and peace within the family, conveying a warm atmosphere. The chilling expression of 'Mansoo', looking down while holding a flower pot high, hints at the drastic changes he will face after being laid off, sparking intense curiosity.
Additionally, a still showing 'Mansoo', wearing oven mitts, facing off against his potential rival 'Beommo' (Lee Sung-min), exudes a subtle tension, heightening anticipation for the dramatic developments that are impossible to predict. Lastly, a still capturing 'Miri' and her daughter 'Riwon' raises questions about the changes the family will face following 'Mansoo's sudden job loss.
With a cast you can trust and a dramatic storyline, beautiful mise-en-scene, solid direction, and even black comedy, Park Chan-wook's new film 'No Other Choice' is set to premiere this September.
