Singer Shinji (43)’s husband-to-be, MoonOne (36), has been facing severe mental distress amid a wave of online speculation and excessive criticism following their wedding announcement.

Despite clarifications on many unfounded rumors, the couple has been deeply troubled by over-the-line comments, including demands for Shinji to draft a 'prenuptial agreement' with MoonOne.

According to a friend of MoonOne, he has recently lost a significant amount of weight and has been internalizing his stress, resorting to self-blame rather than speaking out. A long-time acquaintance shared, "He’s always been a gentle and diligent person, but he tends to clam up under pressure, which might have prevented him from showing his true self on air. Despite his undeniable talent as a singer, his prolonged period of obscurity has also weighed heavily on him."

MoonOne had previously entered into a marriage at a relatively young age due to a premarital pregnancy. Despite the divorce, he has continued to fulfill his responsibilities as a father. A friend mentioned, "Even after the divorce, he remained a responsible father. He’s a talented individual who hadn’t seen much limelight but was preparing for a new musical challenge when he met Shinji and decided to marry her. It’s heartbreaking to see him being unfairly labeled based on misunderstandings."

Another friend added, "MoonOne has become noticeably quieter lately. He’s been worrying more and trying to avoid causing any trouble for Shinji, which has made everyone around him feel quite sympathetic."

Shinji’s team has officially addressed the rumors surrounding MoonOne, clarifying that he was indeed registered as an assistant real estate agent and dismissing school bullying allegations as baseless, according to classmates and military peers. Contrary to infidelity rumors, his divorce was amicable, and he continues to maintain a healthy relationship with his child.

Nevertheless, a legal YouTuber suggested that Shinji should draft a prenuptial agreement to protect her assets, sparking inappropriate comments on social media. Shinji firmly responded, "There will be no such thing, and I kindly decline comments unrelated to my posts."

Meanwhile, Shinji and MoonOne connected through the MBC radio show 'Singeul Bungeul Show' and evolved their relationship into romance by the end of last year. The couple is planning a wedding for the first half of next year, with Shinji urging, "The wedding is still a ways off. Please give us time and watch over us patiently."
