Singer WENDY is confirmed to make her solo comeback this September, marking her first release in about a year and a half.
Her agency, ASND, announced on the 24th, "WENDY will be releasing a new album in September. As it's her first solo comeback in a while, she's been working hard on it, so we ask for your interest and support."
This upcoming album will be her first since the mini-album 'Wish You Hell' released in March last year, about a year and a half ago. It's particularly noteworthy as it's her first release since signing an exclusive contract with ASND, raising fans' expectations.
Previously, WENDY made a notable impact on global charts with 'Wish You Hell', hitting number one on the iTunes Top Albums Chart in 21 countries and topping the QQ Music Digital Album Sales Chart in China, proving her potential as a solo artist.
Additionally, WENDY has been receiving praise for her stable live performances on KBS's music show 'Bangpan Music I'm Going Anywhere' and continues to charm with her friendly personality and hosting skills on her YouTube content 'Today with WENDY'.
Since debuting as a member of Red Velvet in 2014, WENDY has garnered love from fans both domestically and internationally. Her versatility across various fields, including variety shows and radio, has heightened anticipation for her solo comeback.
