The domestic animated film 'The King of Kings' has broken through the 500,000 viewer mark just 10 days after its release.

According to Mofax Studio, 'The King of Kings' surpassed 500,000 viewers this morning (25th) at 9 AM, 10 days post-release. This pace matches that of 'Speckles: The Tarbosaurus 3D', which attracted 1.05 million viewers, and is just a day behind last year's sensation 'Heartsping : Teenieping of Love', which drew 1.24 million viewers.

Furthermore, it has climbed to the third spot in the box office rankings for animated films released in 2025 today. This places it behind 'Attack on Titan: The Last Attack' with 930,000 viewers and 'Elio' with 600,000 viewers, making it a current top 3 box office hit.

'The King of Kings' saw a 252.1% increase in weekend viewers compared to the weekday average in its opening week. If this trend continues into the second weekend, it could potentially become the top-grossing animated film of 2025.

'The King of Kings' is a global hit K-animation that follows the journey of Charles Dickens, a renowned British author, and his youngest son Walter, as they travel back 2000 years into the greatest story ever told. Released in North America last April, it has grossed over $60 million, marking the highest box office earnings for a Korean film in the region.
