
Actor Lee Jun-hyuk and TV personality Jang Do-yeon have been selected as the hosts for the opening ceremony of the 21st Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF), led by Executive Chairman Jang Hang-jun.
Lee Jun-hyuk has built an irreplaceable filmography with a wide acting range, moving seamlessly between the big screen and television dramas. His notable works include the "Stranger" series (2017·2020), "Designated Survivor: 60 Days" (2019), "365: Repeat the Year" (2020), "Dark Hole" (2021), "Vigilante" (2023), and films like the "Along With the Gods" series (2017·2018), "Baseball Girl" (2020), "THE ROUNDUP : NO WAY OUT" (2023), and "Firefighters" (2024), where he has been loved for his versatile roles that blend good and evil.
Especially notable are his roles in "Dongjae, the Good or the Bastard" (2024), where he left a mark with a successful spin-off, and "Love Scout" (2025), where he brought to life a fantasy many dream of, earning widespread love. Recently awarded the Popular Star Award at the Blue Dragon Series Awards (2025), he is currently filming "Even Lotto Winners Go to Work" (literal translation) for Tving and preparing for various upcoming projects including the Netflix series "The Art of Sarah" and Director Jang Hang-jun's film "A Man Living with the King" (literal translation).
Jang Do-yeon is known for her witty banter and empathetic hosting style, making her a trusted face in various broadcast programs, award ceremonies, and official events. Debuting as a KBS 22nd generation comedian in 2007, Jang Do-yeon has established her unique comedy style through various segments on KBS's "Gag Concert" and tvN's "Comedy Big League".
Her natural chemistry with guests on "Salon Drip", her refreshing and stable hosting on "Radio Star", her approachable style on Netflix's "Getaway and Go with Jangdobari", and her delicate storytelling on "Tails of Tales" have all proven her strength as a host.
Recently, she also appeared in the film "Your Country" (literal translation) directed by Lee Ok-seop and Koo Kyo-hwan, showcasing a romantic performance with Koo Kyo-hwan, set to premiere this year.
The pairing of seasoned MC Jang Do-yeon and genre-crossing actor Lee Jun-hyuk, who previously connected on the YouTube variety show "Salon Drip", has sparked excitement for their new dynamic at the JIMFF opening ceremony.
The 21st Jecheon International Music & Film Festival, confirmed to be hosted by Lee Jun-hyuk and Jang Do-yeon, will take place from September 4th to 9th in Jecheon City. The festival will feature a grand opening ceremony at the Jecheon Airfield and showcase a variety of music films from around the world to the audience.
Screenings will be held at JIMFF Cinema (formerly Megabox Jecheon), Haso Community Cultural Center, Jecheon Cultural Center, and Jecheon Film Media Center Spring. "One Summer Night" will be screened at Jecheon Airfield, and "JIMFF Special Choice" will take place at Jecheon Arts Center. The "Camping & Music Festival" will be held at Uirimji Pine Grove Park and Jecheon Airfield.
