In the upcoming episode of SBS's 'Whenever Possible,' actors Kim Sung-kyun and Hyun Bong-sik are set to appear as 'Gap Friends' to deliver a refreshing dose of laughter to beat the summer heat.
During the previously recorded episode, Hyun Bong-sik shared his spectacular(?) debut story, capturing everyone's attention. Having never studied acting until he was thirty, Hyun Bong-sik opened up about his past, saying, "I used to work in delivery, rice supply, and even as an installer for S Electronics." His turning point towards acting came unexpectedly during a role-play session in installer training. "Playing the role of a difficult customer during a customer service scenario was actually fun," he recalled, capturing the interest of Yoo Jae-suk with his pivotal moment in role-playing.
Furthermore, Hyun Bong-sik attributed his ability to avoid NGs (no-goods or bloopers) to his first filming experience. His debut film was none other than the blockbuster 'Ode to My Father.' "My co-star was Hwang Jung-min. I memorized my lines for six months," Hyun reminisced. "I was so nervous, and the lines changed on set, leading to a flood of NGs," he recalled, sharing the nerve-wracking experience of his first shoot. He then humorously reenacted a moment when a bystander claimed they could do better, causing an uproar of laughter. Kim Sung-kyun acknowledged, "Bong-sik is now famous for not making mistakes," recognizing the growth of the actor and warming everyone's hearts.
Will Hyun Bong-sik, with his story full of twists and turns, bring dramatic luck in 'Whenever Possible' as well? The anticipation for the upcoming broadcast rises. 'Whenever Possible' airs on the 5th at 9 PM.
