Amidst a dispute with his agency leading to a halt in activities, NewJeans' DANIELLE has been spotted running along the Han River.
Singer Sean shared a running selfie with DANIELLE on his personal social media on the 5th. Sean captioned the post, "Unknown Crew morning run. The sky was clear, and the breeze was cool - it was a perfect day for running." The photo showed DANIELLE and Sean smiling brightly at the camera, making a number one sign with their fingers after completing their run along the Han River.
Sean said, "Today was a one-point running lesson for DANIELLE, starting from warm-up to posture, breathing, and stretching with Coach Kwon Eun-ju. He easily finished 10km in 56 minutes, with the last 1km as a build-up and the final 100m at a pace of 4:15/km." He added, "DANIELLE is a running talent to envy. He could post a good time if he enters a 10km race this fall."
DANIELLE has recently formed a running unit called 'BoDaSean' (a combination of Bo-gum, DANIELLE, and Sean) with actor Park Bo-gum and Sean, and they have been consistently running together in the mornings.
NewJeans, to which DANIELLE belongs, is currently in a contract dispute with their agency, ADOR. At the third hearing on July 24th, NewJeans argued that "the trust relationship has been destroyed," while ADOR countered that "there is no reason for contract termination." The Seoul Central District Court has scheduled a mediation session for both parties on the 14th of next month, and if mediation fails, a verdict is expected to be announced on October 30th.
