Actress YOONA revealed that she focused on expressing sincerity while playing two characters with contrasting personalities in her latest movie.
At the press screening and roundtable for 'Pretty Crazy' held at CGV in Yongsan, Seoul, on the afternoon of August 6th, Yoona Lim discussed her role as 'Sun-ji', which she portrayed as 'Day Sun-ji' and 'Night Sun-ji'. "I made a clear distinction between 'Day Sun-ji' and 'Night Sun-ji' through their external appearances. During the day, I adopted a pure and innocent styling with a calm tone of voice. 'Day Sun-ji' would be considered an introvert in terms of MBTI. On the other hand, 'Night Sun-ji' was decked out from head to toe in glamorous attire, complete with nail art and colored lenses. I also added an exaggerated and energetic aspect to her speech and tone," she explained.

She continued, "While the physical portrayal of the two characters was important, what mattered most was showing the sincerity of Sun-ji and the devil. I focused on my performance to ensure that this sincerity would resonate with the audience."
'Pretty Crazy' is a devilishly comedic tale about the struggles of a young unemployed man, Gil-gu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), who gets entangled in a bizarre part-time job of monitoring Sun-ji (YOONA), who turns into a terrifying devil every dawn. By day, YOONA's character runs a bakery and dreams of studying in France, but by night, she transforms into a fearsome devil.
The movie is set to hit theaters nationwide on August 13th.
