2NE1 member Park Bom will be taking a break from group activities for the time being.
D NATION Entertainment announced on the 6th, "We regret to inform you that Park Bom will not be able to participate in 2NE1's upcoming schedules." They added, "After thorough discussions and based on medical advice that she needs ample rest and stability, we have reluctantly come to this decision."
The agency requested, "We ask for your warm support so that Park Bom can recover. We also ask for your continued support for DARA, CL, and Minzy, who will do their best to fill Park Bom's absence."
Previously, Park Bom made a surprise appearance at the '2025 Coupang Play Series' celebration stage at Seoul World Cup Stadium on the 3rd, signaling a powerful comeback. Performing with the 2NE1 members during a friendly match between Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United, Park Bom's distinctive high notes heated up the venue.
Last June, Park Bom was absent from the 'Head in the Clouds' music festival in Los Angeles, USA. At the time, the agency stated that her absence was a pre-arranged decision, but her absence during the tour due to health issues raised concerns among fans.
