
SEVENTEEN's leader S.COUPS celebrated his birthday by making a meaningful donation, demonstrating his positive influence.
The Community Chest of Korea announced on the 8th that S.COUPS commemorated his birthday on August 8th by donating 50 million won to support children from low-income families. With this, S.COUPS has become the 3,710th member of the 'Honor Society,' a group of major donors within the Community Chest of Korea.
The donation will be used, as per S.COUPS' wishes, to support the meal expenses of children at risk of malnutrition during the summer vacation. It will be centered around national children's centers, aiding in the healthy growth of children from vulnerable communities.
S.COUPS shared, "Thanks to the love from all the fans, my birthday each year is remembered as a special day. With a grateful heart, I wanted to give back the love I've received to society. I sincerely support the healthy growth of all children and teenagers."
S.COUPS has consistently participated in charitable activities across various fields, including child welfare, animal protection, and disaster relief. He has donated to animal shelters for medical expenses, supported organizations rescuing abused animals, and in March, contributed to the relief efforts for wildfire damages in Ulsan, North Gyeongsang, and South Gyeongsang.
SEVENTEEN is set to kick off their 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]' in September, starting at the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium, and will meet fans around the world, including in Hong Kong, North America, and Japan.
