'The Winning Try' Yoon Kye-sang Kicks Off Intense Training; Sudden Match Against Early Morning Soccer Dads?
TryThe Hanyang High School rugby team from 'The Winning Try' is set to face off against a group of early morning soccer enthusiasts.

The SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'The Winning Try' (written by Lim Jin-ah, directed by Jang Young-seok) is a comedic sports drama that follows the unpredictable and eccentric Coach Joo Ga-ram and the perennial underdogs of Hanyang High School's rugby team as they race towards national championship glory. Starting with a peak viewership of 4.8% at its premiere, each episode has consistently broken its own record, with the latest episode reaching up to 7.7%, continuing its hot streak towards a 'viewership miracle.' Previously, the 'physical genius' Moon Woong (played by Kim Dan) managed to enroll through a special admission process despite various sabotage attempts by Vice Principal Seong Jong-man (played by Kim Min-sang), finally completing the rugby team. This has garnered significant attention for the future of Hanyang High School's rugby team.

In light of this, 'The Winning Try' has revealed a sneak peek of the Hanyang High School rugby team embarking on special training before the broadcast of episode 5. Notably, their training opponents are a group of spirited seniors from an early morning soccer club, which is sure to raise eyebrows.

The released stills show team captain Yoon Sung-jun (played by Kim Yohan) avoiding the laser-like gaze of Coach Joo Ga-ram (played by Yoon Kye-sang), eliciting laughter. Following this, the determined look of 'physical genius' Woong in the Hanyang High School rugby uniform raises expectations.

Meanwhile, the sight of a thrilled Coach Ga-ram contrasts with the rugby team's panic, causing an uproar of laughter. Coach Ga-ram, acting as the referee, is seen celebrating with the early morning soccer club members, exuding the aura of a 'bright-eyed coach.' The juxtaposition of Coach Ga-ram's stern whistle-blowing for the rugby team's fouls and the seemingly unjustified complaints of So Myung-woo (played by Lee Su-chan) is bound to leave viewers in stitches.

Coach Ga-ram's special training session, including the participation of the senior early morning soccer club, and the fiery spirit of the Hanyang High School rugby team can be seen in episode 5 of 'The Winning Try.' Episode 5 of 'The Winning Try' airs on the 8th at 9:50 PM.
